The core of facial cleansing care lies in being gentle and moderate, avoiding damaging the skin barrier. Cleaning is the foundation of skincare, but excessive cleaning or improper methods can lead to skin sensitivity, dryness, and even barrier damage. It is recommended to choose cleaning products based on skin type, combined with scientific methods, to balance cleaning and protective power.
Key points of daily cleaning
Product selection:
Dry/sensitive skin: Priority should be given to using amino acid and APG based surfactants for cleansing, avoiding soap based or strong fat reducing ingredients.
Oily/mixed skin: You can use soap based compound cleansers appropriately (recommended for use at night), and use mild products in the morning.
Makeup remover: For light makeup or sunscreen, makeup remover cream/cream can be used; Waterproof makeup requires oil-based makeup remover products, but they need to be thoroughly emulsified and rinsed to avoid residue.
Cleaning frequency:
1-2 times a day is sufficient, and the water temperature should be controlled at 30-35 ℃ (close to body temperature). Frequent washing of face or alternating hot and cold rinsing may irritate the skin, worsen redness or oiliness.
Tools and Techniques:
Avoid long-term use of facial cleansers or rough face towels for physical friction. It is recommended to gently clean in circular motions with your hands, massage the T-zone slightly, and gently rub it over your cheeks.
